Precautions for storage and handling
・Casting grades of Nichigo G-Polymer™ are provided with water content control and in a moisture-resistant package. There is no need for pre-drying before casting.
・Nichigo G-Polymer™ is an absorbent resin. If the package is left unopened for a long time, it may absorb moisture and cause foaming during casting. Use heat-sealing to hermetically seal the package for storage.
・Redrying is not recommended because it may cause yellowing or F.E.
・To the extent possible, avoid leaving Nichigo G-Polymer™ in processing equipment. Doing so could result in foaming and gelification. When stopping processing, purge with LDPE or LLDPE. The maximum amount of time it can be left in equipment is approximately 20 minutes.
