How to Use GOHSENOL™
Waterproofing Agents
For applications that require waterproofness, N-type GOHSENOL™ is recommended.
N-type GOHSENOL™ is inherently waterproof. Its waterproofness can be notably enhanced with heat treatment. A higher heat treatment temperature results in better waterproofness.
A- or G-type GOHSENOL™ can also obtain water resistance using a waterproofing agent.
Like N-type GOHSENOL™, the higher the heat treatment temperature, the better the waterproofing effect. Glyoxal, dimethylol urea, and trimethylol melamine are recommended as waterproofing agents.
* If higher waterproofness is required, GOHSENX™ Z series is recommended.
