How to Use GOHSENOL™
Anti-foaming Agents
Foaming may cause a problem when GOHSENOL™ is dissolved or a GOHSENOL™ solution is used.
The degree of foaming varies depending on the grade of GOHSENOL™, the concentration and temperature of the solution, or other operating conditions.
The addition of an anti-foaming agent such as an alcohol-based solvent, commercially available silicone emulsion, or polyethylene oxide-poly propylene oxide (PEO-PPO) block copolymer is effective.
Keep in mind that the anti-foaming agent, however, may cause problems such as the turbidity of the solution or may not work sufficiently depending on the working conditions.
