Cationic PVOH K Series

The product is a modified PVOH with a cationic group (quaternary ammonium salt) on its side chain.

• The product shows selective adsorption to negatively charged materials (natural fibers, pulp, etc.).
• It shows excellent emulsifier and dispersing behavior with its surface activity and protective colloid properties. Resulting emulsions also have selective adsorption properties.
• An aqueous solution of the product behaves as a polyelectrolyte and forms an ion complex with anionic water soluble resin.
• It has antibacterial properties and can be expected to be used as an antibacterial polymer.
